These passwords can be activated at any time, and will change the Pokémon available from subsequent events accordingly. Some of these passwords will also outright change an event to generate a Pokémon not normally available from it, due to there not being many Pokémon of certain types before the first Gym (specifically Ghost, Rock, Steel, Ground and Ice). One example is the Mystery Egg from the Jasper Police Station if you put in "monobug", it is weighted toward getting Larvesta from the egg. These passwords make it so certain variable Pokémon events are weighted toward (as in, guaranteed to generate) Pokémon of one or more chosen types. As such, this list is as complete as can be as of time of writing. Passwords may or may not be added as time goes on. For example, you can't get 10 Mints by putting in both "mintyfresh" and "agiftfromace". Inputting these passwords will result in the same effect as the first password, and cannot be used to "double down" on the effect. Most passwords have variants attached to them, which will be listed in the Password field as well. Almost all other passwords can be deactivated at will, with very few exceptions. It is important to note, certain passwords WILL disable online play, and cannot be deactivated. Once a password is activated, you can deactivate and reactivate it at any PC by using more Data Chips. You can input passwords at the start of the game on the train to Reborn City, or at any PC by using Data Chips. Passwords are a new feature that let the player customize their play-throughs to certain specifications, be it to make them easier, harder, or just have some really good Quality of Life.

To save the data, right click anywhere in the screen and select “Save As…” and give it a name, such as “ your_name.json”: Import to TableauĪs Tableau can read JSON files natively, we can open the JSON file directly in Tableau Desktop without any data prep required: This is the JSON data that has been returned by the Tableau Public API. After a few seconds, something similar to the below should appear on screen: Once you have your URL, paste it into a browser and hit return. index – this is the starting point for the count, so let’s say I have 200 visualisations and I want to extract the data in two batches of 100, the first call would end with: ?count=100&index=0 and the second call would end with: ?count=100&index=101.Josh notes that the API can time out if you go above 300, so if you have more than 300 visualisations on your profile then, first of all, congratulations! that’s pretty good going secondly, you’ll need to make multiple API calls, and that’s where the second parameter comes in. I’ve set this to 100 as that’s how many visualisations I have on my profile. count – specifies the number of visualisations you would like to fetch data for.I learned more about these from Josh Tapley‘s blog post in relation to his great work on the Cerebro Project. There are two parameters at the end of the URL: count and index. profile.name/workbooks?count=100&index=0įor example, the API URL for myself is: marc.reid/workbooks?count=100&index=0 There is a set format for the URL and to create yours, all you need to do is replace profile.name in the below link with your own profile name – this is the name you login to Tableau Public with and which you will also see in the browser URL once logged in. Using the API is surprisingly simple you paste a URL into a browser and all of your Tableau Public data magically appears on screen. Finally, I provide a template workbook that you can use to build your own custom Tableau Public explorer dashboard. I then give an overview of the fields I found useful to visualise and visualisation I created. Jeff’s blog provides an excellent step-by-step guide on obtaining your Tableau Public data through the API and I follow those steps below along with some screenshots. I noticed recently that I was approaching 100 visualisations and thought it would be interesting to take a look at how I’ve interacted with the platform over the last couple of years and also how others have interacted with my visualisations over that time.įortunately, I had recently read Jeffrey Shaffer’s blog post on how to use the Tableau Public API and it turned out to be the perfect method for being able to answer my questions. Each token is a string delimited by dots into three parts: header, payload, and signature as described in the Tokens API documentation. Mapbox uses JSON Web Tokens (JWT) as the token format. Barker, a professor at Dalhousie University in Canada, those working for a team of peers reported sensing a collective impulse for tighter self-regulation than when they had worked for a single boss. Bidwell’s theory about why it might be more prevalent now: paradoxically, the emergence of self-managing teams. Some human resources and management leaders think tattling is on the rise. Says Monica McGrath, vice dean for Wharton’s Aresty Institute of Executive Education: “While there is a risk in telling, there is also a risk in not telling.” But for more routine matters, the rules of the game are less clear, leaving the potential tattler with a no-win dilemma. Whistleblowing and reporting activities that are out and out illegal or clearly unethical demand action. Once you get down to cases where you think something is clearly unethical and wrong and needs to be stopped, when there is the potential for real harm to be done to somebody - economic harm as well, or damage to a customer relationship - then I think the ethics there become important.” “There are questions of what’s your business and what’s your responsibility. “My gut instinct isn’t to get involved, but I am not sure that’s the right tone,” says Wharton management professor Matthew Bidwell. But is tattling inevitably destructive? There are instances in which reporting what’s going on is the better choice - indeed, the necessary one - so can certain practices and policies make tattling a useful tool? There are a lot of reasons why a practice may delay or hold off on marketing. However, without active marketing, once you retire, the name and referrers will go away leaving your partners with no lasting brand. If you are lucky you can still sustain your practice based on the name you have made for yourself in the community and the physicians that refer to you. Just as described in a previous point, in the past, a practice would grow just by delivering quality healthcare. I have also seen the ever so common battle of the younger vs. So, maybe you are thinking retirement, but are your partners? Just because you want to slow down your practice, that doesn’t mean the rest of the doctors do. Not taking your partners into consideration. If you are not thinking growth, you are probably thinking retirement. Believing that your practice can maintain its growth organicallyĪll it takes is a new competitor moving into your territory or the loss of a couple high referrals to greatly affect the profit line item in your finances. If you want potential patients to think a certain way about you, you must say it and use the channels they are listening to. How can that be?” Once I do a little research it becomes apparent that that doctor is actually marketing himself to the community.Patients are now empowered to pick their physicians and have many resources to find out information. Too many times I have heard doctors say, “I trained the guy down the road how to do joint replacements and now he is seeing more patients than me. While we still agree that you need to deliver top-notch treatment, every practice needs to utilize marketing to get their message out. Years ago, practices were built on the quality of services delivered, not the quality of the TV commercial that was produced.
Much of the enjoyment of Gardenscapes, especially once you get into the difficult levels at 500+, is about taking your time and playing the game strategically - almost like how you might play Chess against the computer. Plus, while the game does have a time-designated life/hearts system, you don’t need to spend money. Playrix is a fairly reputable mobile games company - Gardenscapes has no intrusive ads that pop up while you’re trying to play, and it even allows you to play offline. Although this is all great, you can also play Gardenscapes totally offline, so no need to worry about your data or Wi-Fi connection! Great for commuters and those who ride the subway… Ad-Free, No Need to Spend Money Plus, you can be neighbors with your Facebook friends. This makes it easier to keep playing the game for longer as you won’t have to wait around for your hearts to regenerate. Like all good mobile games, Gardenscapes provides a social platform for you to play closely with your best buds. You can keep track of your friend’s levels and even visit their gardens, as well as ask for help on certain levels or get life boosts. He has a special power-up move which will definitely get you out of a sticky situation! In-game Social Network to Play With Friends Plus, there’s the little dog, who not only cheers you up when the skies are grey outside, but also assists you in the Match-3 levels. Best Features of GardenscapesĪlongside the addictive gameplay, unique Match-3 mechanics (which are found in most Playrix games), and the slow and satisfying progression of making your garden look beautiful. Remember, there is a life limit - if you don’t beat enough levels in a row you’ll need to wait for your lives to regenerate, or purchase more lives from the in-game microtransaction shop. Addictive ProgressionĪs you beat the different Match-3 levels, you’ll be able to slowly upgrade your garden. As with all match-3 games, Gardenscapes starts out easily, but quickly gets harder as you progress through the 1000+ levels. In Homescapes, you unlock different power-ups by busting tiles of up to 6 different pieces. The aim of the game is to complete more and more difficult levels by matching 3 or more tiles of the same type. If you haven’t heard of Match-3 before, where have you been for the past few years of mobile gaming? It’s by far one of the most popular formats for Android games, all thanks to hit titles such as Candy Crush, and now Homescapes. We’ll go into more detail below about the gameplay and different features. This is all achieved by smashing the match-3 levels, where you have to match plants, colors and much more. You have inherited a mansion with a garden in a quite disgusting state, but a garden with a lot of potential if you’re ready to put TLC into planting trees, mowing the lawn, and creating beautiful flower beds. That is, they’ve added a fun storyline to the base match-3 mechanics that have become so popular on mobile devices. Playrix have done something excellent with Gardenscapes, and their other title, Homescapes. Become a gardening hero when you download Gardenscapes. Meet the in-game characters, Austin, and say hello to the chirpy little dog. Playrix offers dedicated support for the game, which means there are still levels being added to the game years and years later. It’s likely one of the finest matching tile games where you have to hit 3 tiles in a row, unlocking bonuses, decorating your garden, and working towards the almost infinite amount of levels in the game. Gardenscapes, from Playrix, has millions of downloads and millions of positive reviews, and for good reason. Perhaps this will signify another shift in King Gizz’s stylistic choices where Cavanaugh’s drumming develops into something more unique and ambitious without needing to factor in another drummer, although having two drummers does separate Gizz’s live shows from other acts in the scene. Will Gizz source another recording or touring drummer from their Flightless family to fill the gap left by Moore in their live shows? Fans on Reddit have put forward The Murlocs drummer and Beans frontman Matt Blach as a candidate, while others favour the female addition of Stonefield’s Amy Findlay (who happens to be Cavanaugh’s partner). It will be interesting to see how Cavanaugh’s playing will develop following Moore’s departure. Moore has been with the band since its formation in 2010, but his involvement in the recording process has been decreasing over the past few albums, with fellow drummer Michael Cavanaugh taking the lead. Eric made an immeasurable contribution to the band and we’re sad to see him go!” “Over the last decade as both member and manager, from airport to soundcheck and from tour bus to stage he was there each step of the way. “It is with a heavy heart that we announce Eric’s departure as a member of King Gizz to focus solely on Flightless Records.” King Gizz posted on Instagram. Moore is stepping back as member and manager to one of Melbourne’s most prolific bands to focus his attention solely on growing his independent record label, Flightless Records. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard drummer Eric Moore announced his departure from the band in an Instagram post on the 25 th of August. For one, none of the original manuscripts have survived. Marks.” The category of pseudonymously published arrangements is still shrouded in obscurity. The Hamburg music publisher August Cranz, father of Brahms’ piano student and friend Alwin Cranz, encouraged the composer “to provide savoury arrangements of favourite operatic melodies for the retail trade.” Brahms went to work and Cranz issued the arrangements undated and without plate numbers, and he did hide the name of the actual author behind the collective nom de plume “G. Johannes Brahms: Piano Trio in A Major (Guarneri Trio Prague)Īctually, Brahms had already published a number of piano arrangements and fantasies in 1849. It certainly is plausible that this is one of the trios Brahms mentioned in his letter. A musicologist attributed the work to Brahms, and it was first published as the Piano Trio in A Major in 1938. Prieger was a renowned music collector in Bonn, and we know that Brahms spent part of the summer of 1853 in that city. Brahms was in the habit of writing works in pairs, and a manuscript in the hand of an unknown copyist was found amongst the papers of Dr. 8 in 1854, and there might well have been a companion piece. So what happened to the trios Brahms mentioned in the letter? We do know that he published his first trio in B Major as his Op. 4.” This path of destructive self-censorship continued well into his maturity, and scholars have suggested that only about one-third of Brahms’ compositional output has survived. 1, published as Opus 1, is titled “Sonata No. And the manuscript of the Sonata for Piano No. Brahms said that prior to publishing his first string quartet, he had already composed 20 string quartets that have now disappeared. I am contemplating not to publish any of my trios…” Schumann’s announcement was apparently the start of Brahms’ life-long obsession with destroying manuscripts of compositions, sketches, and drafts that he considered unworthy. Only three weeks after Schumann’s article, Brahms writes, “Above all, it obliges me to exercise the greatest care in my choice of works to be published. He immediately began to censor his intended publications. Schumann’s announcement of the “New Messiah” must have justifiably horrified the painfully shy Brahms. 3 (Jessye Norman, soprano Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, baritone Daniel Barenboim, piano) Whenever he bends his magic wand, there, when the powers of the orchestra and chorus lend him their aid, further glimpses of the magic world will be revealed to us. There were sonatas, or rather veiled symphonies songs whose poetry might be understood without words piano pieces both of a demoniac nature and of the most graceful form sonatas for piano and violin string quartets, each so different from every other that they seemed to flow from many different sources. We were drawn into more and more magical circles by his playing. His name is Johannes Brahms, and he hails from Hamburg, where he has worked in quiet seclusion… Sitting at the piano, he began to explore the most wonderful regions. And now he has arrived, a young blood, at whose cradle graces and heroes kept watch. “Many years have passed, almost as many as I had earlier dedicated to the editorship of these pages, and in those years are memories of such rich terrain, which once made itself heard to me… I thought, that it would and that it must be, that someone would suddenly come along whose very calling would be that which needed to be expressed according to the spirit of the times and in the most suitable manner possible, one whose mastery would not gradually unfold but, like Minerva, would spring fully armed from the head of Jupiter. Titled “Neue Bahnen,” (New Paths), Schumann writes. |
